Gardening Insights 2019

Join the Macon County Master Gardeners for a unique and fun day of horticulture programs. Choose from 12 hands-on or classroom-style sessions that both beginning and expert gardeners will enjoy.

Class descriptions and registration available at Pre-register by February 12. Walk-in registration also available. Hands-on classes have extra costs and have limited space, sign up early! Lunch is included in admission and includes sandwiches, pasta salad, soup and dessert.

Keynote speaker Melinda Myers is a certified arborist and horticulturalist, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Whether you are interested in container gardening or raised beds, indoor or holiday plants, pests or weeds, shrubs or roses, Melinda has answers for you! Melinda’s books will be available for purchase and signing after her session.

Garden novelties will be available for purchase from a variety of vendors during the event to help prepare for spring planting. Be sure to stop by the Ask a Master Gardener desk to get answers for all your horticulture questions.
