School board approves personnel changes

The following personnel moves were made by the Monticello school board following a closed session at its Feb. 20 meeting:

–The board approved the hiring of Shayla Fountain as a kindergarten teacher, and Natalie McDowell as a personal aide and nurse at the high school;

–approved the transfer of teacher Christy Crouch from kindergarten to first grade; and

–approved the resignations of Bill Bell, district technology assistant; and Morgan Brownfield, media aide at Washington Elementary.
