Senior holiday lights tour is Dec. 2

The annual bus trip taking Monticello-area senior citizens to tour Christmas lights and a live nativity is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2.

Buses will pick up participants from Tatman Village at 5 p.m, followed by Maple Point Assisted Living and the Villas of Hollybrook. There will also be a stop in the Illini Overhead Door parking lot (former county annex building) at 5:15 p.m. for those who want to take part but are not residents of the three facilities. One of the buses will be handicap accessible.

The bus will take seniors to the Live Nativity at Christ Lutheran Church in Monticello. They will also be served hot chocolate and tour local Christmas decorations.

Treat bags will be given to participants.
