Davenport wins national Pinterest contest

Stephanie Davenport, a marketing consultant for the News-Gazette Media Group, which includes the Piatt County Journal-Republican in Monticello, was the winner of a national Pinterest contest held by cinda B on Super Bowl Sunday.

cinda B., based in Fort Wayne, Ind., is one of the fastest-growing handbag firms in the nation.

Davenport said she used her Super Bowl time wisely: "While others were watching the big game and snacking, I was pinning." She beat out others from across the country, and won a set of cinda B bags as a result.

Coincidentally, a company representative was in Monticello Feb. 9 for a Meet and Greet at Wacky Nackies, and personally delivered the prize package. Davenport is pictured here with. Art Mandelbaum, President of cinda B., was also on hand at the Meet and Greet, along with Wacky Nackies owner Debbie Hinds and cinda B Midwest Sales Manager Sara Epple.

Davenport lives in Mahomet and is based out of the Piatt County Journal-Republican office in Monticello.
