Six inches of snow on Easter

For the second straight weekend, the area received a significant amount of snow, with up to six inches falling on some parts of East Central Illinois on Easter Sunday. In this photo, snow, ice and fog combine under sunny skies Monday morning north of DeLand. According to the National Weather Service, Farmer City received 5.5 inches of snow, with the Monticello/White Heath area getting 4.3 inches. Six inches was recorded in Clinton and Foosland. High temperatures will remain in the 30s and 40s through this weekend.
