The public is invited to the unveiling of “Beneath the Surface,” a sculpture created by Gregory Stallmey.
The event will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 in the Moore Building parking lot in downtown Monticello (behind the new Christie Clinic).
Remarks and the unveiling will be at 6 p.m.
The artwork is being made possible by the Public Art League with funding provided by Christie Clinic and public art supporters.
Additional support is being provided by Moore Building owner Spencer Atkins, the City of Monticello and the Monticello Area Arts Council.
The Sept. 12 event is free and open to the public.
