Weldon Festival Committee

The Weldon Festival Committee was formed in 2018 to plan and host events for the community of Weldon and surrounding areas. Last year’s Homecoming was the first held after a 10-year break, and the committee looks to build momentum towards celebrating the village’s sesquicentennial in 2022, and beyond.

Weldon Homecoming Car Show

The Atteberry family started hosting car shows at the Weldon Homecoming in conjunction with Weldon Lions Club in 1995. Hundreds of cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles exhibited at the shows from 1995 thru 2009. When the Weldon Festival Committee formed in 2018 the Atteberry’s jumped at the opportunity to bring back the popular event in conjunction with the re-born Homecoming.
