Jason A. Stoller, 61, of White Heath, passed away at 8:33 a.m., March 9, 2019 at Carle Hospital, Urbana after a bitter battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
Jason was born April 27, 1957 in Chicago, IL the son of Hylan and Lillian (Art) Stoller. He had a master’s degree from Concordia University and was a retired teacher for Chicago Public Schools.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Whitney Stoller of White Heath; sons, Jonathan Stoller of Watertown, NY, Michael Stoller of Champaign, Jay David Stoller of Clyde, NC; 2 grandchildren; mother, Lillian Stoller of Palatine; sisters, Barbara Woodman of Mt. Prospect, IL, Pamela Davis of Skokie, IL; half-brother, Jack Stoller of Upper Arlington, OH, and half-sister, Jean Merzon of Buffalo Grove, IL; as well as many good and valued friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Jason was a member of the Monticello Masonic Lodge #58 AF&AM and served the U.S. Navy. He was an avid bicyclist and photographer.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Basenji Rescue and Transport or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
