Funeral services for Mary Cynthia Bradley were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, Olahoma. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at Monticello Township Cemetery in Monticello.

She was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Monticello, the daughter of William Edward and Salina Glee Norris. She was 98 years and 9 months at the time of her passing.

Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kay Bradley; her father, William; her mother, Glee; and her husband Herbert Arthur Bradley.

Survivors include one daughter, Janice Renee Bradley DeMoss Seay of Lenexa; Kansas, two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She spent all of her formative early years in Monticello where she met her future husband to be, Herbert Arthur Bradley, whom she met in the 7th grade. They both graduated from Monticello High School in 1938 and were later married on January 3rd, 1942. She worked multiple jobs during their early marriage as it was during World War II and everyone was required to contribute.

In 1961, she and Herbert moved to Oklahoma City, OK due to Herbert’s job. She was active in several organizations.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
